Our Early Intervention program focuses on supporting schools and educators in working with special needs families, ensuring they receive the services they need as early as possible.

Assisting Educators: 

  We provide training and workshops for educators, helping them better understand how to support special needs students and families. We guide them on preparing parents to access crucial services, including early diagnosis, educational plans, and community resources.”

Parent Collaboration:

  Through collaboration with both educators and parents, we aim to bridge the gap in communication and provide families with the tools they need to navigate available support systems for their children.”

Our case management services help individuals and families navigate the complex systems of the Bureau of Disabilities. We assist them in securing necessary resources, including Community Integration Housing, Vocational Rehabilatation , healthcare, and essential services for sustaining their livelihoods

The Can We Talk? support group is a safe, welcoming space dedicated to caregivers of all abilities, providing a place to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. Recognizing the unique challenges and triumphs that come with caregiving, this group offers a supportive community where members can openly discuss their journeys. Each session is designed to provide emotional support, practical resources, and insights tailored to caregivers’ needs. Through mutual sharing and compassionate listening, Can We Talk? empowers caregivers to prioritize their well-being while fostering resilience, understanding, and a renewed sense of purpose in their vital roles.

    “Many individuals and families transitioning into stable living situations lack basic furniture and household items. We provide Furniture and home Start Kits, packages designed to help individuals or families set up basic necessities when moving into a new or first-time home. These kits include essential items that make a living space functional and comfortable, easing the transition to independent living.

  We use the engaging Zooey Mama series to introduce school-age children to concepts of cultural sensitivity, acceptance, and inclusion. The program helps students understand and embrace differences in abilities, backgrounds, and cultures.”
